Tropiese Sitrus Hoendersop

Braai 3 gekapte uie, 6 gekapte wortels, 2 gekapte seldery stingels in botter tot effens sag. Gooi bietjie olie by die botter sodat die botter nie brand nie. Gooi 2 liter groente aftreksel of hoender aftreksel by die mengsel. Kook tot alles sag is. Voeg die vleis van 1 oondgebakte hoender, 2 gesnyde piesangs en 750 ml vars lemoensap by. Kook totdat piesangs sag is. Versap alles met ‘n handversapper. Meng 500ml Lancewood  Full Fat Plain jogurt by. Geur met sout en vars gemaalde swart peper na smaak. Bedien die sop met kluitjies. Maak die helfte van ‘n 500g pakkie “Savoury Muffin Mix” aan. Skep lepelsvol van die aangemaakte muffin mengsel op die sop en prut vir so 25minute met die pot se deksel op tot die kluitjies gaar is.

Tropical Citrus Chicken Soup

Fry 3 chopped onions, 6 chopped peeled carrots and 2 chopped celery sticks in butter until soft. Add a bit of oil to the butter to prevent the butter from burning. Add 2 litres vegetable or chicken stock to the mixture. Boil until everything is soft. Add the meat of an oven baked chicken, 2 peeled and chopped bananas and 750ml fresh orange juice. Boil until the bananas is soft. Liquidise with a hand blender. Add 500ml Lancewood Full Fat Plain jogurt. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve with dumplings. Prepare half a packet of Savoury Muffin mix. Scoop spoon portions into the soup. Simmer for +-25minutes with lid on until the dumplings are ready.
